Quickest way to unlock Exotic Armor at the NPC? - Guild Wars Forums

Hi,
Is there a quicker, or cheaper way of of using Silver coins to reach Exotic armor? Most Basic pieces seem to cost 24 silver coins each, Doing this 50 times would seem to take forever.

I also think the requirement is pretty absurd.

Might just roll a PvE character and buy it. Way cheaper/faster.

Sleep with an anet employee,you may even get some unique minipets whilst you're at it.

Unfortunately you missed the RR days or extremely lame HB metas that amassed lots of points.

Use Tournament Reward Points.

These are obtained from entering GvG tournaments (you get points even if you lose every match) or the currently broken Xunlai Tournament House.

If you do not have anyone interested in doing GvG with you, I'd roll a PvE character as Windf0rce suggests. At 24 coins/piece, you'd spend the equivalent of 120 Gold ZCoins, or 8 Heavy Equipment Packs. At 40e each, that's 320e for a set of armor. Of course, you do not have to unlock all the armor on one character (it is tracked account wide) but if you do not want most armor, paying that much is ridiculous.
